Macreddin is the first course designed by Irish professional golfer and Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley. After years of competing at the peak of the game, McGinley brought all his experience to bear in creating a golf courses that oozes class and quality.

A mere 10 minutes drive from Macreddin Village lies another magnificent golf option in Woodenbridge Golf Course. Although renowned as one of the top courses in the Wicklow area today, Woodenbridge was originally only a 9-hole course until 1994 when Paddy Merrigan was commissioned to design the additional 9-hole layout and extend Woodenbridge to an 18-hole Par 71 layout.
