Santa Maria Golf Course
The golf course is located in a setting of incomparable natural beauty in the mountains of Andalusia. It runs through two valleys, with great views of the Mediterranean, in one of the most densely wooded areas of the municipality.
The course winds through the valley and climbs up the side of the mountain before crossing the motorway in a northerly direction. The first nine holes were designed by Antonio García Garrido.
The hole on the 7th, a par-3 of 200 yards, is reached from raised tees. The following hole, a par-5, is a dogleg to the right with water on the right.
The 14th also begins with a very high tee, flanks a lake and ends up at on a green with a waterfall to the right. The course is surrounded by numerous apartment buildings, but this does not detract from its beauty, and it also has two practice courses, three putting greens and five short holes.
