Girona Golf Course
Golf Girona is a golf course of 18 holes, 72 par. Designed by the prestigious golf architect F. W. Hawtree. The course is sown with pencross grass of maximum quality for practicing golf.
The course is fully adapted to the natural environment, the land where the golf course is built is completely isolated from Girona’s urban life, a place where you can enjoy views of small valleys and hills overlooking the mountains of Las Gavarres. No roads, no electric cables or apartment blocks going between the golf course.
The first nine holes are very competitive: it’s designed to require the use of every clubs in the bag. The next nine holes are spectacular, as all tees are placed on walls built with Girona stone. From this location you get breathtaking views from the roads and is a pleasure to trace the path of the ball to its target. Probably, when Mr. Hawtree designed this part wanted, he wanted to give the players the best feelings after the round.
The design of the course is perfectly suited to the terrain, which makes it suitable for players of all levels.
