Carton House is home to 2 championship golf courses; the inland Montgomerie links & the O’Meara parkland course. The resort has been host of many international tournaments including the Irish Open on three occasions and the World Amateur Team Championships in 2018. Carton House offers a golfing experience like no other. The 36 hole championship courses have been host to the Irish open on three occasions. The resort is also home to the national golf academy which is set on 22 acres of mature parkland and features a driving range, four large grass teeing areas and five USGA specification greens.
