Real Club de Golf Tenerife
The Real Club de Golf de Tenerife was founded on December 18, 1932, making it one of the oldest in Spain. However its origins go much further back in time having its partners the pride of being part of the first Golf Club created in our country. The course we enjoyed today was designed by several prestigious players from our Club, Mr. Andrés Alberto, Mr. Antonio Lucena, Mr. Joaquín Laynez and Mr. Aureliano Yanes.
The golf course is located 600 meters above sea level, and within the municipality of Tacoronte. It has a total of 18 holes, with a total course of 5740 meters and a pair of 71 strokes. Its beauty lies, among other details, in its abundant native tree perfectly integrated with the rest of the countryside.
The Real Club de Golf de Tenerife was the venue of the Open International Championship of Spain back in 1964, and also hosted in its facilities in 1984 the Spanish Championship of Professional Doubles. During a series of years players like the likes of Severiano Ballesteros, Manuel Piñero, JM Cañizares, Antonio Garrido and Miguel Angel Jimenez passed by our club.
